ReplyDeleteWhile I served in the Army, and too old to go to Vietnam so served in Merchant Marines assigned to US Navy transporting troops to Viet Nam (both US and Korean), and then in US Air Force after we were recalled because of the capture of the Pueblo.
Fortunate enough not to have seen actual shooting! Unfortunate though that we did not go to war with North Korea after they blatantly shot down our EC121 Air Force spy plane in international waters. Maybe we wouldn't be on brink of nuclear war with them now. Never know. We did know that they were prepared for us to attack them before dawn but our president backed down and decided to do much like our current president.
That was a nice clip and I'll try it. I do not ever have a problem thanking any veteran for their service!
